The Space Between | Where Honesty Lives

At some point during any new adventure comes a moment of doubt. A pause of action. It happens when you look up and see how beautiful the stars are and reach for the hand of a lover who isn’t there. It happens when you see all the hills your tired legs still have to run up. It happens when you wonder why the hell you are voluntarily paying to be lectured on APA citation at 10 o’clock at night.

Listen up Buttercup, because you need to be told this:

There is a horde of haters in this world. That’s what they do and that’s what they will always do. It’s just who they are. And if you let it; all of their doubts will become your doubts and eventually manifest into the lies you tell yourself at night.

There is a reason. There always is. Remind yourself of the why. When the journey completely overwhelms you remember why you started at the beginning. Cheerleaders are  precious gifts. Hold them close but know at some point along the way they won’t be able to text you back soon enough. You’re going to need to be able to pull yourself back up by yourself.

And you can do it. My god if there is anything you need to know tonight it’s that you can do it. It’s difficult and at times you’re going to drive yourself insane with doubt but know that you have all the strength you need inside you already. I promise you it’s there. You just have to trust it.

Don’t give up on your journey yet. There is still far to much for you to learn.
